A map of the Indian princely states, according to gun salute.

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Map of the Indian princely states (only including 180 of the largest, most import states) ranked by gun salute. This system was used for the Shan princely states, the Trucial Sheikhdoms, Mascat and Oman, and the Yemeni protectorates. The British also applied this to some of its looser protectorates, such as Bhutan, Afghanistan, and Nepal. This only showcases the British Indian part.
