Description
English: As part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav commemorating 75 glorious years of independence, INS Valsura organised naval band concert and felicitation of naval war veterans on 10 August 2022 at historical site of Lakhota lake, Jamnagar, Gujarat. Smt. Binaben Ashokbhai Kothari, Mayor of Jamnagar was the chief guest of the event. The event witnessed participation from sister services, civil administration, school students, NCC and Sainik School Balachadi. Children from INS Valsura and Jamnagar city participated in various cultural programmes with theme of “Our Freedom Fighters”. During the event, five naval war veterans were also felicitated.
