Description
English: An incomplete and corroded early-medieval silver penny of Offa of Mercia (757-96), Heavy Coinage (c.792-6), mint: Canterbury, moneyer: Ethelmod (North 322; Chick 230). Refs: North 1994: 90; Chick 2010.

The coin is missing much of the outer beaded edge and a large piece forming over half of the lower (obverse) lunette. It also also heavily cracked.
