Español: La AMJ se inauguró el 30 de enero de 1959. Fue concebido y creado para el bien de la comunidad y el fomento de la amistad entre ambos países. Se construyó con 64 mil de dólares como reembolso de los bienes de la Embajada de Japón en México que habían congelado en la época de la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
English: The AMJ was inaugurated on January 30, 1959. It was conceived and created for the good of the community and the promotion of friendship between both countries. It was built with 64 thousand dollars as reimbursement for the assets of the Embassy of Japan in Mexico that had been frozen at the time of the Second War.
