| Description |
English: This festival is called "Ikenge Festival " which means ... "Festival of Progress".
It is celebrated annually (In the month of June) by over 2 million people in Ukwuani ethnic groups of Delta State in Southern Nigeria. The festival connotes love and unity in all communities of Ukwuani nation and serves as a celebration of progress both for young and old. As one can see from the picture above,the festival is a peaceful one as no harm is done to any spectator.
