The screens should be selected to produce the re-quired sizes, two and one-half inch circular holes givingwhat are known to dealers as two inch stone : oneand one-fourth inch holes giving one inch, used forthe binder-coat of asphalt pavement: one inch holesgiving three-fourths inch : one-half inch holes giving screenings : one-fourth inch holes giving one-eighthinch dust. 172
