TTTTTTT TTTT TTT T TTTTTTT SU7VY7V^ER yHRIETIES COMET.âWe were the first to offer this very profitable early pear, and, at the same time, planted lots of them, and now our trees annually bear a fine lot of handsome fruit, which sells in market at $2 to $3 per bushel. Had a fine crop last year. Some specimens weigh 15 ounces, and are as handsome as any colored plates we have ever seen. Tree is a strong, healthy grower, rather sprawling. Fruit medium to large ; very at- active. Skin bright yellow, with brilliant red cheek. Very early. Plant Comet. EARLY HARVEST.âMedium ; very showy ; quality poor. Tree a good grower and abund- ant/bearer. Very profitable. Early. â¢v CLAPP'S FAVORITE.âLarge ; very good ; attractive ; red cheek ; good grower. Early. s TYSON.âMedium sized ; bright yellow, with reddish brown cheek ; vigorous grower. Medium. BAETLETT.âLarge ; buttery, rich flavor, melting; good grower ; white flesh, fine grained, luscious. More generally popular than any other pear. Medium.
