Oeuvre présentée dans l'exposition "Éblouissante Venise" au Grand Palais à Paris <a href="https://www.grandpalais.fr/fr/evenement/eblouissante-venise" rel="nofollow">www.grandpalais.fr/fr/evenement/eblouissante-venise</a>

L'exposition traite des arts à Venise au XVIIIème siècle et présente des peintures et dessins de très grande qualité dont certains sont très connus, d'autres moins. C'est le principal intérêt de cette manifestation pluridisciplinaire qui propose également l'intervention certains jours de la semaine de musiciens et de comédiens. L'impression générale qui émane de cette exposition est celle d'un saupoudrage qui ne rend compte que très partiellement de la richesse artistique vénitienne et surtout de ses palais et de son environnement. Ceux qui connaissent Venise ne peuvent être que déçus tant cette ville est unique et ne peut être perçue que sur place en y passant beaucoup de temps. Il en est de même de ses musées, palais et monuments qui méritent une attention soutenue. Le but de cette manifestation de qualité mais trop ambitieuse dans sa thématique est probablement de garantir une fréquentation importante du grand palais sur un sujet qui attire facilement les visiteurs.
