Description
Español: Vista parcial del actual retablo mayor dispuesto en una sola fila en tres pisos. En el inferior se dispone el sagrario, en el intermedio la Virgen rodeada de ángeles y en el superior la imagen de San Blas, al que se le encomendaba el cuidado de la garganta. Entre los pisos se intercalan dos frisos de menor tamaño con alguna escena evangélica, como la representación de la Última Cena, y las figuras de los evangelistas. En la parte superior el típico “Calvario”. También hay grutescos del gusto de la época. Estos restos de un retablo del ámbito romanista de Simón de Berrieza y Miguel de Quevedo, pueden datarse en torno a 1580.
