English: Interior of the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Peña, Vega de Rio Palmas, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands, Spain. The pilgrimage church was built in the 17th century. The alabaster figurine of St. Mary with Jesus in the high altar - Virgen de la Peña - is adored as the patroness of the island.
