Description
English: The Idomas are people that primarily inhabit the lower western areas of Benue State, Nigeria.

Aside from the western parts of Benue, this tribe has settlements in other parts of the country, including Taraba, Cross River, Enugu, Kogi, and Nasarawa State in Nigeria.

The Idomas traditional soup is called "Okoho Soup"

Okoho soup is highly medicinal and also known for its ability to aid digestion. Serves as an antidote to arrow wounds, helps to expel intestinal parasites, is an aphrodisiac and can treat male erectile issues.
