| Description |
English: Ice-watching, Omagh. Several locals were observing the ice forming on the river Strule from Bells Bridge and commenting that it was a scene that they could never remember happening in their lifetime; this is due to the fact that a weir and fish counter were constructed down river from this point and the water has slowed down enough for the surface of the water to freeze, and this is the first year that it was cold enough for this to happen - see 1650766. |
