Description
Français : position de Al tantoura, gros village arabe attaqué par la brigade alexandroni le 23 mai 1948, pour assurer le contrôle israélien sur la route tel-aviv - Haïfa. A cette date, le village contrôlait la dernière grosse "poche" de résistance palestinienne sur la côte.
English: Al-Tanura position, a big arab village attaqued by alexandroni brigad (haganah) on 23 may 1948, for the full control of the road between Tel-Aviv and Haïfa. The village controlled the last palestinian "pocket" on the cost.
