A MALTESE TRADITION DESSERT IMBULJUTA Imbuljuta (Sweet Chestnut Soup) Ingredients 500 g Dried Whole Chestnuts 200 g Sugar 50 g Drinking Chocolate Zest of Orange Zest of Tangerine 6 Cloves Water Method Wash the Chestnuts and place them in a pan. Pour cold water into the pan and cover the Chestnuts. Leave the Chestnuts soaked in the water for around 8 hrs. Boil the Chestnuts and add all the ingredients. Leave to simmer until the Chestnuts are tender. Serve HOT. For 5 Persons. THIS SHOULD KEEP YOU WARM DURING THOSE COLD NIGHTS, TRY AND ENJOY IT !! |
