Summary[edit]

Description 910 cc two stroke three cylinder engine (Ha, a bit like a Commer TS3 lorry) made in Eisenach from 1953-6 but earlier in Zwickau in the former DKW factory from 1950 until 1953.It was the the precursor of the Wartburg 311. I have never seen one in the UK but I am always hoping to be surprised. Shame I missed catching the rounded registration plate. It ought to be from Erfurt Bezirk, commencing Fx or Lx.. The Wiki page is a good starting point for anyone unfamiliar with this creature with suicide doors.
