| Description |
English: Word processing machine consisting of a word processor that reads text from a magnetic card and an electric typewriter. The two devices are connected by a cord. Made by IBM in the 1970s, probably in Holland. Model IBM MC 80. The text you write on the paper is stored on the magnetic card. The text can then be "played back" and changed, corrected or supplemented to be stored on a new magnetic card. The magnetic recording on the card can also be erased with a magnet.
A blue plastic box with spare parts and cleaning brushes and a blue magnet was also given with the word processing machine. Dimensions of the word processor: W 300 mm, H 660 mm, D 480 mm. Dimensions of the typewriter: W 560 mm, H 205 mm, D 385 mm. |
