Deutsch: Ferstikla. Hier wohnte Kolgrímur der Alte, der laut Landnáma Land zwischen der Botnsá im Innern von Hvalfjörður bis zur Kalmansá inn Besitz nahm. Der Dichter Hallgrímur Pétursson (1614-1674) verbrachte seine letzten Lebensjahre in Ferstikla und starb hier.
English: Ferstikla was the home of Kolgrímur the Aged, who according to the Book of Settlements settled the Land between the Botnsá and Kalmansá rivers. The hymn-writer Rev. Hallgrímur Pétursson (1614-1674) spent his last years at Ferstikla, where he died. |
