Description
English: Rectangular, rounded corners, snuff-box type container. Lid decorated with polychrome enamel scene of English-style hunt situated on dirt road in wooded landscape: central female figure wears black waistcoat, long skirt and hat, riding side-saddle on brown horse, flanked by two male riders in red waistcoats and jodphurs, male on left on black horse, male on right on black and white horse, group of riders featured in right background, hunting hounds running beside horses. Lid hinged on back panel. Thumb catch on front edge of lid. Loop attached to right panel. Incised striker on front panel.
