| Description |
English: Humps in the forest The undulating nature of the ground in Culbin Forest shows the shape of the sand dunes as they were when 'frozen' or stabilised over half a century ago by the planting of marram grass and then Scots and Corsican pine trees to create today's forest. In some places these frozen dunes reach a height of about 50 feet. |
