Summary[edit]
DescriptionHumber Low Light. - geograph.org.uk - 951840.jpg |
English: Humber Low Light, Spurn Point, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Built on the west side of Spurn Point in 1852, the Low Light did not see service for very long; becoming redundant in 1895 when the Humber High Light was built on the east side of the point. The High Light could shine at different heights and so there was no further use for the Low Light as a lighthouse. The Low Light was used as a magazine for a while and then later converted into a water tower. |
