Summary[edit]

Description Het restant van de Donjon. De woontoren van het Kasteel van Daniël Daniëlsz van de Merwede. Het kasteel is gebouwd in 1300. Het tweede deel is gebouwd in 1350. Tijdens het beleg van Dordrecht in 1418 door Jan van Brabant is een deel van het Kasteel geruïneerd. Tijdens de St Elisabeths-vloed van 1421 kwam het geheel in het water van de rivier de Merwede te liggen.
