Description

New York City Mayor William O’Dwyer and Robert Moses, who presided over the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority (now known as MTA Bridges and Tunnels), cut the ribbon on the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel on Opening Day on May 25, 1950.
