English: Houses facing the green, Temple Sowerby These are all Grade II listed, as also are the walls, gates and railings. In the centre, Beech Cottage was probably built in the mid-18C. It has an incised stucco front. Beech House and adjoining stables are on the left, built of ashlar stone, with quoins at the corners, in the late 18C. It has a 19C openwork cast-iron porch. Sheriff House on the right is very similar.
