English: House in Lawrence Lane Called The Harvesters, this grade II listed house originally dates from the late 16th century, with 19th and 20th century extensions. For the second half of the 19th century it served as a beerhouse "chiefly for the labouring class", but apprently lost its licence at the end of the century due to the drunkenness of the owner. For listing particulars see http://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/Gateway/Results_Single.aspx?uid=290163&resourceID=5.
