Au centre, l'Hôtel de la reine Marguerite dit aussi Hôtel de la reine Margot (détruit, rue de Seine, 6e arrdt., Paris) avec ses jardins au milieu desquels s'élève la chapelle des Louanges (conservée au sein de l'actuelle École des beaux-arts / Ensba, rue Bonaparte) ; à gauche, la rive gauche (animée) de la Seine vers l’aval où des barques sont amarrées au port des Passeurs et le quai (actuel quai Malaquais) en direction du pont de la porte de Nelle (porte de Nesle) menant à la tour du même nom ; à droite, une partie de l’enclos de l'abbaye de Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Les rues parallèles au quai sont, de gauche à droite, la rue des Marets (rue des Marais, actuelle rue Visconti) et la rue du Coulombier (rue du Colombier, actuelle section est de la rue Jacob), celles partant du quai en direction du sud (à droite sur la carte) sont, en haut, la rue des Fossés de Nesle (actuelle rue Mazarine) dont l'extrémité, côté Seine est aménagée en abreuvoir, et la rue de Seine, en bas la rue des Saints-Pères. Au centre, l’ancien chemin de la Noue (actuelle rue Bonaparte), dit aussi rue de la Petite Seine, puis rue des Petits-Augustins divise les jardins de la reine en deux parties pour permettre l'accès à la chapelle des Louanges, mais se termine encore en cul de sac côté quai. |
