| Description |
English: Horton in Ribblesdale Station and Village A welcome view for Yorkshire Three Peaks walkers, arriving from Ingleborough, as they approach Horton in Ribblesdale station. The path crosses the line and exits the station via a small gate on the other side of the platform, and it is then all tarmac back to the Pen-y-ghent Cafe, which is visible at the right hand end of the group of white painted buildings to the right of the photo. The single white building on the far right is the shop and post office. Pen-y-ghent, which is the usual first peak of the three peaks walk, is seen on the far side of the valley. |
