Description
English: 14 Tweedle Street in Glen Williams, Ontario, Canada. Circa 1905? (post 1898/pre 1917)

• This lot was part of the original Williams Survey. A 1917 photo shows (Esquesing Historical Society, photo 149), a house present on this lot which is very similar in appearance to the present house. At that time it was the home of Robert Brennan (1860-1933). However, no building is shown on the 1854 Phillips map or the 1898 Fire Insurance Map. It was built by Sykes and Ainsley Woollen Mills as a worker's home. That company evetually became Glen Textiles Ltd. who, in 1955, granted the property to Mary Steinberg.
