Description
English: The first-ever virtual reality project Home of the Brain (1989-91) by Monika Fleischmann, Wolfgang Strauss, (ART+COM, Berlin) is an interactive exhibition with four philosophers' houses. Visitors can immerse themselves in the thoughts of Vilém Flusser, Paul Virilio, Marvin Minsky, and Joseph Weizenbaum. Equipped with VPL data gloves and data goggles (VR), the project offers visitors a philosophical exploration of digital thinkers' media theories. The project was awarded the Golden Nica at the 1992 Prix Ars Electronica.
