| Description |
English: Lower boundary of the Holocene (dashed line) as defined in the NGRIP ice core based on significant changes in δ18O, dust content and Deuterium-excess. High resolution data in the lower three panels of the diagram ranging from 11,581 to 11,819 years before year 2000 are from Steffensen et al. (2008), layout is inspired by Walker et al. (2009), fig. 5 (see refereces below). Deutsch: Untere Grenze des Holozän (Strichellinie), wie im NGRIP-Eisbohrkern anhand von markanten Änderungen in δ18O, Staubgehalt und Deuterium-Überschuss definiert. Die hochauflösenden Daten der Jahre 11.581–11.819 vor dem Jahr 2000, die in den unteren drei Panelen des Diagramms dargestellt sind, stammen von Steffensen et al. (2008), Layout in Anlehnung an Walker et al. (2009), fig. 5 (siehe Referenzen). |
