Summary[edit]

Description
English: Apart from the rest of the country, Holi is also colourfully celebrated by the people of Assam,especially in Hajo with fanfare. The festival is celebrated for three days. In the first day and second day of the festival , Lord Vishnu is worshipped and it is also believed that in the second day, Lord Vishnu plays Holi with Radha. The third day is for people. From children to elderly people everyone gather in streets, holy places and shower phaku guri with joy. Holi Geets and its echoes are spread all over Hajo.
