Description
English: Headings from the 1921 pamphlet Hokitika, N.Z. : the Birth of the Borough by D.J. Evans amongst others, a fundraiser for the Westland Pioneers' Memorial maintenance. Printed by the Hokitika Guardian, it included fancy typefaces, fleurons, and other decorations that could date back to the newspaper's origin in late Victorian times.
