Summary[edit]

Description
English: A poster for a memorial concert for David Hochstein. Hochstein. The promising Rochester, New York, violinist, was killed during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive in October 1918. Funds raised from the concert were to become the nucleus of support for a Memorial Music School, now the Hochstein School of Music & Dance. Emily Sibley Watson and George Eastman contributed to the effort.
