English: Viking Landfinder (ship, 1893), a replica of a vikingship arrives in Chicago, USA, on the 12th of June 1893. The ship was displayed at the World's Columbian Exposition (1893). Public domain - reproduction of a painting that is in the public domain because of its age.
Norsk bokmål: Vikingskipsreplikken "Viking" ved innseilingen til Chicago, i forbindelse med 400-årsjubileet for oppdagelsen av Amerika på Verdensutstillingen i 1893. Skipet kommer seilende rett mot betrakteren, med Chicagos flåte av lystyachter og ferger bak med hvite skrog, blafrende vimpler og flagg og drønnende salutter. Alle de amerikanske båtene har det norske flagget i mastetoppen. "Viking" var en kopi av Gokstadskipet. Bildet viser også flere andre fartøyer.
