, ■■f-i HOSPITAL. 509 CHAPTER X. Hahnemann Hospital is to-day an honor to its founders andto the cause it represents. It is one of the best-equippedHospitals in Philadelphia, and is doing a vast amount ofgood. The following are the Rules at present governing the Insti-tution: RuLKS Governing the Admission and Discharge of Patients. I. Patients suffering from contagious diseases shall not beadmitted to the Hospital, except cases of enteric fever. II. Persons having chronic or incurable diseases shall notbe admitted as charity patients, but may be admitted for aspecified time by paying a stipulated amount for board andattendance. III. Persons injured by accident or emergency casesbrought by the Police Patrol shall be received at any hour.An admission card (yellow), in form as follows, shall befilled out and signed by the resident physician or surgeon,and immediately delivered to the superintendent: Police.
