After three years service with this company hewas for several months employed in the office of the Winton MotorCarriage Co. in Cleveland. Then for a Aear he was in the officeof the Kirk-Latty Mfg. Co. in the same city. Leaving there inNov., 1904, he took charge of the Lorain Business College, Lorain,O., for Messrs. Short Bros, of Akron, 0. Jan. 1, 1906, he tookcharge of the commercial department of the Hammell BusinessCollege, Akron, O., owned by the same parties. On Jan. 1, 190T,he entered the treasury department of the B. F. Goodrich Co.,Akron, where he has since been employed, now being head book-keeper. Mr. Willard S. Chaffins penmanship is exquisite, and hisbusiness capacity of a high order.
