Summary[edit]

Description

English: Here we see a gazebo which is situated on a cliff above the river Wupper. It bears the name "Diederichstempel" and is an attractive vantage point. You have a good view at Germany's most elevated railroad bridge (357ft.) from there. The little temple still exists.

We are looking at the north side of the bridge. Back then it was known as "Kaiser Wilhelm bridge". It connects the cities of Solingen and Remscheid. The postcard has been published before 1905. On its back the postcard gives some technical information on the huge iron structure. See my German description above).
