| Description | Built in 1927, this Classical Revival-style building was designed by Henry Charles Huart as a shopping arcade. The building features a concrete-clad exterior with pilasters featuring fluted capitals, arched second-story Chicago-style windows and first floor contemporary storefronts, an interior with a large skylight over the double-height interior atrium, sconces with globes, an iron balcony on the second story of the King Street facade, and a low-slope roof enclosed by a parapet. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020, and today houses multiple commercial office tenants, as well as many retail tenants along the streets at ground level. |
