Description
English: Bihar is an eastern state of India with a rich history. With numerous Buddhist and Hindu historic sites, the state also hosts many important Jaina sites. A few Bihar monuments are ruined remains of some of the largest monasteries and historic educational centers of historic India. Others are sophisticated large temples with extensive artwork.

The map above shows over 110 historic sites in Bihar with GPS coordinates. The GPS coordinates are based on field surveys and periodic site visits since 2019.
