Español: Desde 1991 hasta 1998 Hercilia López impulsa y produce el Encuentro Internacional de Creadores de Contradanza que se realiza anualmente durante seis años. "En el marco de las seis ediciones del Encuentro Internacional de Creadores, que ella dirige entre 1991 y 1998, llegan a Venezuela algunos de los más destacados investigadores y artistas de la nueva danza y de la educación somática, de teatro, artes plásticas y música, artistas provenientes de Asia, África y Europa y Latinoamérica. Estas informaciones y enseñanzas permearon profundamente los espacios de la danza en Venezuela, contribuyendo sustancialmente a la gran evolución que experimentó nuestra danza al final de los 80 y en la década de los 90", dice la coreógrafa Julie Barnsley. |
