Basundhara – the earth has won the Rajat Kamal for Best regional film at the 57th National Film Awards for 2009. His next Venture Films Khobh- anguish (2014), Seema- the story untold. (2017), Banhi-the flute (2018), Nasimay-darling (2020). His films selected and screened at different national & international film festivals . Hiren also served as Jury Member, 59th NATIONAL FILM AWARD 2012, JURY MEMBER, STATE FILM AWARD 2013, Member, Sub-Committee “Revival of Assamese Cinema, 2015” constituted by Honble Governor of Assam, Chairman of Eastern India Motion Picture Association (EIMPA), Assam |
