Summary[edit]
DescriptionHigh House (or Dearden's) Brewery, Burton Street, Hillsborough - geograph.org.uk - 1045970.jpg |
English: High House (or Dearden's) Brewery, Burton Street, Hillsborough. These derelict buildings were part of a brewery on Burton Street, known by some as High House Brewery and by others as Dearden's Brewery. I understand that they were situated in the back yard of a building called High House which fronted onto Penistone Road, hence the link to at least one of the names. An old photograph shows the chimney to have been much taller ... For more views follow these links ... 1045987 1045982 ... Burton Street School is on the other side of the road and up the hill a bit. 1045875 |
