Description
Deutsch: "Die Herrenhaeuser Allee in Hannover." Stahlstich von Louis Thümling nach einer Zeichnung von Wilhelm Kretschmer. Druck und Verlag von Gustav Georg Lange in Darmstadt. Blatt unter Passepartout montiert. Blattmaße ca. 23,6 cm × 15,2 cm (Blatt nicht rechtwinklig, Druck nicht rechtwinklig zum Blattrand ausgerichtet). Am oberen Blattrand 4 Einkerbungen; Hinweis auf die Fadenbindung eines Buches (vermutlich "Das Königreich Hannover und das Herzogthum Braunschweig..."). Am Original ein glatter Bug am oberen Blattrand (von der Bucheinbindung); dieser Scan kann das nicht darstellen.
Das Gebäude hinten links ist das 1797 bis 1800 von Johann Georg Taentzel errichtete Heu- und Strohmagazin an der Jägerstraße.
