| Description |
English: Heriot-Watt weather station, Cairn Gorm summit Taken on a maintenance visit during a very cold spell in January 1982. The summit temperature was -10 C, but temperatures in the glens went down to below -20 C over the next few nights with strong temperature inversion, very little wind and superb visibility on the tops. |
