| Description | And yet another Bombardier Q-400 aircraft of the Porter Airlines comes in to land above the classic Toronto skyline in Canada. It is heading towards the small commuter Billy Bishop Toronto City airport located at the far end of Ward Island on which I am rightnow. just off the coast of Toronto on Lake Ontario. While access to the islands is by boat only, Billy Bishop is a busy commuter airport so an underwater tunnel has been constructed. There are Billy Bishop commuter buses running continuously between Union Station and the airport. I had a tough time getting this right as the darned auto fucus kept going off all the time. due to which I had to manual and turn the ring, but which time the aircraft had long passed. Fortunately, this is a busy commuter airport with arrivals all time, due to which I could make several attempts before (almost) getting it right. I took another picture at this spot where the plane appears to be crashing into the CN tower, but that does not give such an effect as this one. (Toronto, Canada, Nov. 2015) |
