Previously: Data from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Prices are nominal (not adjusted for inflation). http://octane.nmt.edu/gotech/Marketplace/Prices.aspx

Updated: Image data now from the EIA site, as they are now very comprehensive. Exactly how they define the monthly price is unclear, but the excel sheet seems to show the 2nd or 3rd week contract expiration, but that might be wrong. http://www.eia.gov/dnav/ng/hist/rngwhhdD.htm
