Description
Polski: Helena Jaworska – polska komunistka, członek ZWM i PPR, bojowiec GL/AL, uczestniczka powstania warszawskiego. Po wojnie pracowała jako dziennikarka i działacz młodzieżowy. Poseł na sejm PRL w latach 1947–1964.
English: Helena Jaworska – Polish communist. During the German occupation of Poland she was a member of the underground “Polish Worker’s Party” (Polska Partia Robotnicza), its youth wing “Association of Youth Fight” (Związek Walki Młodych) and its armed wing “People’s Guard” (Gwardia Ludowa). She fought in the Warsaw Uprising 1944. After the war, she works as a journalist and youth activist. She was a member of the Polish People’s Republic Parliament (Sejm) in 1947–1964.
