Deutsch: Die heilende Kraft des Meeresschlicks aus dem Siwaschsee ist schon seit Urzeiten bekannt, wie auch viele andere Peloid-Vorkommen auf der Halbinsel Krim. Darunter ist z.B. die bekannteste und erste offizielle Heilschlamm-Klinik auf dem Gebiet der ehemaligen Sowjetunion der Kurort Saki, der schon 1828 offiziell eröffnet wurde.
Im westlichen Teil des Siwaschsees, wo der Salzgehalt im Wasser am höchsten ist, hat man vor einigen Jahren eine Quelle des Heilschlamms mit sehr interessanten Eigenschaften entdeckt.
Siwaschsee ist ein verbreitetes System der flachen Buchten des Asowschen Meeres. Der Heilschlamm ist ein Peloid (Meeresschlick oder Sole-Schlick), das in der hochkonzentrierten, rosafarbenen Sole entsteht. Die rosa Farbe hat die Sole den Mikroalgen Dunaliella Salina zu verdanken. Zum eigenenn Schutz produzieren die Mikroalgen über 30 verschiedene Carotinoide und vor allem das Beta-Carotin. Das Beta-Carotin gibt der Sole und dem Salz eine schöne rosa Farbe und ist auch in dem Sole-Schlick enthalten.
