Nederlands: Hysterese, door Sizoo in 1925 ontdekt. In de grafiek van de weerstand van een supergeleider tegen de sterkte van het uitwendige veld laat het verloop rond het drempelveld (waarbij de weerstand terugkeert) bij toenemend veld een vloeiende curve zien, terwijl bij afnemend veld de weerstand sprongsgewijs inzakt. English: Hysteresis, discovered by Sizoo in 1925. In the graph of the resistance of a superconductor against the strength of the external field, the course around the threshold field (where the resistance returns) shows a flowing curve with increasing field, while with decreasing field the resistance drops in a stepwise fashion.
