Description
Nederlands: Proef van Teichner (1904). In een buisje vloeistof bevinden zich glazen bolletjes van iets uiteenlopende dichtheden. Omdat bolletjes blijven ‘hangen’ op de hoogte die bij hun dichtheid past, verraadt hun verdeling het dichtheidsverloop van de vloeistof in die buis.
English: Test van Teichner (1904). Glass spheres of slightly different densities are contained in a tube of liquid. Because beads remain 'hanging' at the height that matches their density, their distribution betrays the density trend of the liquid in that tube.
