Summary[edit]

Description "Hohnbeer" symbol in Heide, Dithmarschen region. Hohnbeer is a traditional event in late winter/early spring where the three "Eggen" (neighbourhood)of the town of Heide - the northern Egge, the Easter Egge and the Souther Egge, celebrate neighbourhood and solidarity. It comes from a time when there was no administration of the town and common deeds hab to be done.
